Campaign Manager User Role FAQs

Common questions (and answers) about the Campaign Manager user role.

  1. Can a Campaign Manager create new campaigns? 
    1. No; The campaign manager role will only let you manage an existing campaign that has been assigned to you. 
  2. Can a Campaign Manager add new products from Amazon?
    1. Yes; As a campaign manager, you will be able to search for new products from Amazon by using the ‘Amazon Products’ search within the Mindful Giving site. 
  3. If a Campaign Manager adds a product to the Inventory, will if automatically be added to my campaign?
    1. No; In order to add products to your campaign, you will need to add them once they have been added to your Inventory. You can do that from the Inventory page or from within your Campaign itself. 
  4. How do I add products to my campaign?
    1. There are 2 ways to add products to your campaign. 
      1. First, you can add products while inside your campaign. Navigate to ‘Campaigns’ and then click on the name of the campaign you want to add products to. Click on ‘Manage Products’ and then click on the ‘+ Add/Remove Products’ button. This will open up to show you the full Inventory. You can select the products you’d like to add from the inventory and then click the ‘Update Products’ button at the bottom of this section. 
      2. Second, you can add products while inside the Inventory. Navigate to the Inventory. From there, you can select products and then use the ‘Select Campaign’ drop-down to select the campaign you want to add products to. Then click the ‘Assign to Campaign’ button.

  1. Can I delete products from Inventory?
    1. No; The campaign manager role cannot delete products from Inventory. You can remove products from your campaign, but you cannot delete a product from the site's Inventory.
